Last sunday, March 4th, THE OSCARS took place and as every year I was very curious about the results but even more about the red carpet looks. I’ve waited a few days to share my favorites and opinions so I wasn’t too influenced by the critics of the media.
Dressed in in Giambattista Valli Haute Couture, Brian Atwood shoes, and Bulgari jewelry
The warm brown dress in combination with her haircolor is just… Perfect. The choice to wear her hair in a dot is even more genius. That draws all the attention to the dress. The natural makeup look suits this overall look in a beautiful way, ZENDAYA is a natural beauty and, in my opinion, heavy makeup wouldn’t compliment her.
Kelly Marie Tran
Dressed in Jenny Packham, Brian Atwood Shoes and Chopard jewelry
Baby blue. Not many people can handle this kind of blue, KELLY MARIE TRAN definitely can. The upper of the dress full of glitters/diamonds and deep cleavage in combination with this fairy bottom is so beautiful. The hairstyling is perfect for the shape of her face as well as the makeup. Maybe one remark, I would have taken a darker color for her lips. (not too dark, just a few shades darker)
Dressed in Naeem Khan, Rene Caovilla shoes and Lorraine Schwartz jewelry.
Well hello Miss MOLLY SIMS! Normally deep cleavages in combination with high splits are a no-go for me, but I’d like to make an exception for this glamorous dress. The see-through arms, the pearls on the dress, the color,… I could go on and on about this lovely dress. And oh-oh the shoes… Wouldn’t mind receiving a pair for my upcoming birthday! AHUMMMM…
Dressed in Forevermark jewelry and with a Judith Leiber bag
Classy in white. My favorite dress of the night. Classy, glamorous, striking,… SLAY! The hairstyling and natural makeup are also very appropriate for this look. And oh those earrings, bet they aren’t easy to wear, but they’re absolutely gorgeous.
Dressed in Louis Vuitton and Zac Posen with Lorraine Schwartz jewelry
Not because I’m a huge fan or something… But I haven’t seen a bad red carpet look of SANDRA BULLOCK in years. The choice of this gold-black dress in combination with her long hair and brown makeup is absolutely beautiful. While I prefer most of the people with their hair up for a red carpet event, SANDRA is one of the few who rocks the hair down look.
Atelier Versace and Piaget jewelry
I’m crazy in love with the color of this ATERLIER VERSACE dress. I wish I could pull off this color as well as JENNIFER. Seriously, this kind of blue isn’t easy to wear, if you’re not careful with it, the dress will wear you instead of the other way around.
Dressed in Gabriela Hearst and Sergio Rossi shoes
Can I get a round of applause for this look? The stylist has taken everything into account when they picked out this dress for her. They’ve accentuated her killer body in this dress. But do you know why I’m rooting for this look even more? Because they didn’t forget about her beautiful wide shoulders. They have put them in the spotlight and what they’ve created is a powerful sensual look.
I’m also a fan of the makeup, the eyeshadow draws you straight into her eyes and the color of the lips is just… AUWWTTSSSJJJ!!! You know what I mean, right?
